In July and August, we're looking into what holiness lived out looks like and what it does. Saved in Christ, we're also called to be His holy people who are set apart to shine for His glory.

But what does holiness practically mean for our church in 2018? Come and see as we look into the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 and 6 to hear Christ's call for everyday holiness.

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect

SET APART IN JUSTICE TO LOVE

Social justice has been the buzz lately. But how does it compare to God's holy justice and holy love? Called to far more than compassion, Christians are to even shower our enemies with a holy love!
Matt. 5:21-26, 38-48

JULY 22

SET APART TO SHINE

We continue with the second half of the Beatitudes in our quest to embrace Christ's call to holiness, concluding with His amazing picture of His people being salt and light in the world. Matt. 5:1-16
JULY 15

SET APART TO BE PURE

Christ calls us not to just abstain from some bad behavior, but to have purified hearts that pour out in radically different lives. Come and see how and why God's good plan for Christian sexuality is set apart from our culture's concepts.
Matt. 5:27-32

JULY 29

SET APART TO GIVE
Christian saints are called to have a very different relationship with money and charity. We turn to Matt. 6:1-4, 19-24 for Christ's revelation on holy giving and living in everyday life.
AUGUST 5

SET APART FROM WORRY TO PEACE

What has got you worried these days? Christ doesn't promise us carefree living, but does call His followers to have a very different relationship to anxiety, worry, and everyday pressure. We find hope in Jesus' great peace in Matt. 6:25-34.
